Im so embarrassed asking this but......is the gorilla in the Diary Milk advert that plays the drums to Phill Collins song...a real gorilla...i cant tell

I heard on the radio that the animatronic suit was from a company in Hollywood and it cost $100K!!!!! A man was inside and he had screens in there to see what the gorilla's face was doing so he could work the rest of the body...... and because of the advert, Phil Collins song entered the UK charts based on downloads alone! Some feat for an advert..... whoever said advertising didn't work!

No way, the guy in the suit is an actor. The first advert was premiered during the season finale of Big Brother 2007, and consists of a gorilla at a drum kit, drumming along to Phil Collins song "In The Air Tonight". It is supposed to relate the urge of playing drums to that of eating a chocolate bar. I think it is brilliant personally

The video starts with a real gorilla, the one playing the drums is a man in a gorilla suit. The two images are morphed together using computer animation.
