I have replaced the headers on my car and tighten everything to the specs that it says in my repair manual. At first the car seems to be running good but then the ticking starts after the engine has been running. Now the ticking is non-stop and on top of that I have no power to my car.

those have non adjustable lifters in them,so your either in need of a good oil change or you have a set of lifters that are going bad in it,that's a common problem with those anyway.if its got any amount of miles on it you may need to replace the lifters, low oil pressure will cause this also, have it checked ,it may help save the engine in it,good luck with it.

This does not sound like a lifter/rocker problem. Those get quieter after the engine runs a while. Same with exhaust leaks.

As an engine gets warm the oils viscosity decreases - it gets thinner. This provides less cushion for bearing and other components. You may be hearing a rod - that is really bad news.

Also check the oil level. There might not be any in there! An engine about to seize does have a loss of power!

Check your oil pressure manually(bad pump?) if you know how. If you don't just ask.

Since you replaced your exhaust "headers"(we are talking about exhaust not cylinder heads right? because that would change everything.) . Was this an attempt to stop the noise?

Since you have non-adjustable rocker arms the clicking you're hearing is excess clearance between the push-rods and rocker arms. Most likely you have a collapsed or stuck valve lifter. You'd better measure with a dial indicator the overall cam height at the end of all the push-rods to see if the cam lobes are out of spec.

you have a bad lifter the lose their prime after a while and get dirty an cause a ticking sound because they are pumped up , you can clean them by putting sea foam in your motor oil run it for about 15 minuts drain the oil and refill it with new oil and filter . this helps about 70 percent of lifter problems if that doesnt work replace lifters .
