Yes you can
A creditor can make you bankrupt for any debt above £750, whether you are around to answer the claim or not
An Official Receiver will be appointed to do some preliminary investigations into your estate at which time they will establish that you have emigrated - you could still reply to the proceedings and to their investigations
If you leave any assets behind, they will become part of your bankruptcy estate, but then again so will all of your debts

Yes you can, the bancrupcy from what I have read lasts on your credit file for 6 years.
