I am from Michigan and now live in Ohio. no meijers I have shopped in in either state has a layaway. but then again i might have missed the one that does. so your best bet is to call and find out.

I am not sure how this question relates to traveling to Detroit but yy advice is to either call Meijers and ask if they have a Layaway Department or visit the store and find out.

As far as I know Meijers was getting rid of their layaway program so more people would try for their credit cards.

i know the meijers in the macomb area do.alot of meijers are taking there lay aways out.

Not no more collect gift cards for $25-$50 every week then go shopping when it builds to the amount you need I have done this for my husbands X-mas gift before
