I am one of those GO GO GO people and I have to say that in the times that I don't have a lot of things going on, I actually begin to feel depressed and sad!
For example, I am a wife, mom to two small children (7 & 3) and am in college full time. I am constantly doing something. The way that my school set up the schedule, we had no break between spring semester and summer semester and during spring break, two of my online classes still required that we hand in assignments ... so, from January 4 until June 21, I went to school full time. I did get a four week break between the end of summer and the start of fall, but during that week I constantly felt like I was forgetting something or there was somewhere I needed to be. I actually starting making things up for my kids and I to do. We'd schedule play dates and meet friends for swimming.
So ... while I enjoy hanging out, I'm much more of a fast paced person and have an almost obsessive need to be DOING all the time.

Of course I'd rather have extra time to relax and enjoy things at a leisurely pace. But I'm to busy running 90 miles a minute getting things done, lol.

I would rather have extra time to relax than to always be busy. It doesn't matter if you're busy traveling around the world or being at the best concerts just because once in a while you have to relax and listen to the best songs: sorry by buckcherry and blurry by puddle of mud.
The point is, try to have "me time" once in a while!

All work and no play makes Jill a dull girl! So we all need to take time out from the hustle and bustle of the day to recharge your batteries!
Here is a short story that I would like to share...There was an energetic young man who wanted to become a logger on a timber crew. He was excited about his new job. The first day he went out into the forest and he cut down eight trees with his axe. The next day he only cut down seven trees and he didn't even take a break all day. The third day he went out earlier in the morning and stayed later that night. On the forth day he worked though lunch.
Each day it was harder and harder for him. He was cutting fewer trees. Finally he was so frustrated that he asked his foreman what he was doing wrong.
His boss told him to sharpen his ax. He told him to watch the other loggers and see what they did. He noticed that each hour they stopped for just a few minutes and took a break and while they were resting they sharpened their ax.
Imagine that...taking a break makes you more productive. It gives you a chance to gather your thoughts, chart your course for the next hour and rest your weary bones for a few precious moments. These are the most important minutes of each and every hour in your day!!!

My schedule is pretty full. Full time student a 52 with a ton of homework and I work as well. For me to be able to relax and just enjoy all that is around me is a gift.

I like to keep busy. I relax when I'm on this site. It takes my mind off whats happening in the real world.
