As a physician, the normal age for menarche (getting one's period) is anywhere between 9 and 16. However, a healthy young woman must have enough caloric intake and body fat to be healthy and allow the body to make the appropriate hormones to allow menstruation. As you say you have hair but not yet breast, you may just be on the later edge of the curve- however, if you are underweight your body may not be able to make the chemicals needed to mature sexually which would cause a delay in menarche that is usually corrected when you start getting proper nutrition. Either way,. if you do not get you period in the next 6 months, I would talk to a responsible adult and ask for a trip to see you doctor!

I'd say that was normal. Just loomk at all of the gymnasts out there, most of them have small chests.
You'll get your period when your body is ready, but being really athletic and skinny can delay the start of your period. Especially if your body fat percentage is below normal.

How is your diet? It you eat really healthy and organic, that could be a reason. THAT IS A GOOD THING! It has been proven that people on high soy diets, and those who eat fast food with lots of hormones in the meat, may start their periods as early as nine years old. If you don't have a great diet, then your body just may not be ready yet. I am a ballet teacher and a lot of my dancers start later.
Just a little info to share......

You sound like my little sister. She's 14 and plays softball constantly. She hasn't had her period and her breasts are very small (not sure about the hair). Being active is what will keep it at bay longer and make you less likely to have cramps. Don't worry, just mention it to your doctor next time you see him/her and enjoy not having to worry about it!

It seems as if you need to gain more weight to get a consistent period. Try increasing your caloric intake, which yes will mean you will gain weight but being skinny is not worth the risk of never being fertile.

I wouldn't say it's abnormal since you do sound like your pretty active. If it doesn't come within the next year I'd ask a Gyno. about it.
