. A surveyor stands on flat ground at an unknown distance from a tall building. She
measures the angle from the horizontal ground to the top of the building; this angle is π/3.
Next she paces 40 feet further away from the building. The angle from the ground to the
top of the building is now measured to be π/4.
a) How tall is the building?
b) If the surveyor moves 20 feet further away from the building, what will be the angle
from the horizontal ground to the top of the building

(a+40)* tan(pi/4) - a*tan(pi/3) = 0 (Sorry i dont have calculator with me )

solve for a gives distance from building to surveyer at initial lenght

a.) a*tan(pi/3) gives height

b.) (a+40 +20 ) * tan ( O ) = a * tan (pi/3

now use calculator to compute O that should be new angle
