for me, thoughts of a better me (more mature and grown) coming out of the hurdles come to mind when being confronted by overwhelming negativities.

Yes this too shall pass, and I have had too much, when my son passed. I am still alive and loving every part of the life that I was blessed with. This is the one event in my life that had me doubting my ability to function...But I did the best I could do, and am still smiling and loving.
My philosophy when I am having a day that is not a wonderful day...is usually to meditate, help people around me, nurture them, and it motivates me to be less self involved and more inclusive of sharing my love with others.
Winning the day is when I can come home knowing that I left the world better off than when I found it.

When I'm in a situation like this, I go through all the other tough times I've been through and that I got through those times, so I do self talk that if I can get through those times, I can get through this one too. We are never given more than we can handle.
What I do when I'm working through a tough situation and needing to clear my head and think positive again. The thing that always works for me is doing something physical and getting in tune with nature. For example, taking a hike, go jogging outdoors or shooting hoops either with myself or 1 on 1 with a good friend. For some reason, doing something physical outside has always helped me during these times. While I'm "working out"...I also "work out" what's in my head.
Whatever it is you're going through, just remember, don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff. If you believe in a higher power, I would give it over to Him. As, this will truly be the best thing for you to get this weight off your shoulders. As He is the one who's in control of all of this anyways.
I know you will get the peace you are looking for, believe, get the rest and physical exercise you need and meditate...and it will work it's self out.
Take Care and this too shall pass....as every thing else has previously. :)

If you are steadily conquering challenges, you are happy. Your challenges keep you energized. You are excited to try new solutions. You have fun. You are alive! Instead of avoiding challenges, jump into them. Do not postpone a task, simply because its challenging. Catch these challenges by their horns and vanquish them. Enjoy the game. If your challenges are too large or too numerous, do not give up. Giving up makes you tired. Instead, reorganize. Find more determination, more knowledge, more help. Don't create success and revel in it in a state of inertia. You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference.
cheers :)

i cannot have too much positive energy
its my bag to accommodate it
I once build all the path ways and dams of a 4 hectare park with over 2000 people
school kids and citizens ,in 3 days .
And it was my job to regulate and direct all the work (the energy)
so bring on the energy.
but i can have an overdose of negative energy in 30 minutes

Of course, I have felt this way. But it really does pass. What I do is to just let myself feel all my feelings all the way through, and then release them. Relax. Then I can feel the joy again. Breathing. Feeling. Releasing. Relaxing. Letting go. Staying the present moment. Cherishing all the small, exquisite moments of pleasure and joy. And then remembering that we are not alone, that everyone feels this way sometimes, and we all make it through. Sometimes I remember to channel positive energy to myself and send it to anyone who might be in my shoes. Sometimes I let myself have a good cry, or take a long hot bath. Sometimes I listen to and sing really cool, soothing children's lullabies. (I did this today. Very healing.) Then I feel at peace again, in time.
Hope this helps. Peace to you.

What I like to do is make a mental list....Look at all the positive things in my life. Then eliminate them from my life...Makes me appreciate them more. Thinking about what life would be like without all the sstuff, and I mean really putting yourself mentally in that situation, then switching back and thinking about all the stuff that makes your life what it is, always puts me in a good mood.

live in the moment. a wise man once said:
Thus shall you think
of all this fleeting world,
A star at dawn,
a bubble in a stream,
A flash of lightning
in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp,
a phantom, and a dream.
