VERY EASY, are you serious ?

1.) r * 2 - r1 = r2

2.) no solution since e is not in the equation

first one. you have

r=1/2( r1+r2)... multiply both sides by 2/1...

gives
2r= r1+r2

subratcting r1 from both sides, gives

r2=2r-r1 which is first answer.

second
you have p=2L + 2w

here you can't solve for e but you can solve for w.. you probably hit e by mistake..

subtract 2L from both sides. gives

2W=p - 2L
dividing both sides by 2 finally gives

W= (p-2L)/2

2r = r1 + r2
r2 = 2r - r1
