Hi, I initiated a ACH deposit into my bank account from somewhere else. If I've entered the correct routing number and account holder name, but a slightly different account number (let's say I forgot a 0), will money be delivered anyway?
thanks!

Probably not. The account number is a whole lot more important than the account holder's name.

Well, assuming the missing zero is to the left, or "leading zero" to the account number, it wont hurt as much. If that missing zero is somewhere in the actual account number what can possibly happen is that once it makes it to your bank, it will hit this lovely "non-post" report. Basically it shows all funds that are still floating around in the bank so that people like me can manually gather enough information and see why it did not post to an actual account. Beware, your bank will also have the option to RETURN that ACH deposit to the originator, so if i were you I would contact both your bank to let them know about the possible wrong account number given, and I would also contact the person/business who originated the ACH. i.e. if it was your employer, get a hold of the payroll department so that they can attempt to fix it if the ACH has not been sent out

Hope that helps and always triple check the information you provide, Im sure you want your money to make it to your account right? :-)
