that is one way.... The other way is ... take the lowest one

which is 86 (or 86+0), then rewrite all the numbers as, 86+0(86), 86+1(87), 86+2 (88), 86+2 (88), 86+4 (90), 86+4 (90), 86+5 (91),

so now add = 0 + 1+2+2+4+4+5 = 18 and divide it by 7
which is = 18/7 = 2.57, now add this to 86 .. so the average will be = 86 + 2.57 = 88.57

To find the average of any number of values, you must find the sum of all the values, and divide by the number of values.
In this case, add all seven values and divide the sum by the number of values. sum / # of values.
