I need to know if only the educated were wealthy? And if this helped the Roman Catholic Church get more power? And how this all influenced the setup of life *( peasants, popes, priests, and kings) If you have any info or site links, it would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Not much information on that subject. That s before renessiance. There was a recorded rebellion in 1383, but not much else is known. Probably just the rich had time and resources to read, think and learn. Hmm . . come to think of it, a lot of monks did reading and transcripting too.
