I would really like to see him with the Habs in 207-2008, but obviously he won't sing in Montreal. Do you heard some rumors about him?

"Our boy Jason Allison, who I think I owe money to at this point for as much as I've written about him over the last two years, is reportedly closing in on one team in the East and a deal could be done, "Any Minute" IF, and I repeat IF IF IF, Jason is willing to take a one year deal."

I haven't heard any rumours about him, but my best guess is, Gretzky's gonna have such a terrible time in Phoenix this year that they'll come running to him sooner or later this season. Then they can blame him for the problems there. But it might be a deal he'd take. Regardless of the new rules and the new game, over 82 games a person could chalk him up for 20-30 points, mostly on the PP.

Bob,
Jason has been saying all summer he is close to signing with a team in the East (rumours abound that the teams are Washington, Florida, and Toronto) but he doesn't seem any closer. He's been working out by himself for a couple of weeks now.

Personally, I will be very surprised if it happens

The league has him listed as retired in the 2008 Guide and Record Book

There hasnt been any recent rumours about any team showing interest in him, or a soon to be closed contract, but i honestly think that he will be without a job for the 07-08 NHL season.

Nobody is interested in him anymore.

A nice guy with good hands but he's just too slow for the new NHL.

his decision to take a season off has pretty much destroyed his NHL career. you never want to sit out for too long. the next time he's behind the bench i expect it will be as a coach if that.

i havent heard n e rumors about him lately. all i heard was that he wanted to play this yr. if Toronto is the rumor, then i highly doubt it because they don't have enough cap space!!

I'm guessing he's going to retire. No one has expressed any interest in him.
