Great music all around! My favorites were actually 808 State and A Guy Called Gerald or A Guy Named Gerald - whichever it was. That was cutting edge stuff, wow. My favorite tracks were 808080808 by (shock) 808 State and "Fools Gold" by the Stone Roses.
Whatever happened to 808 State? I lived in Chicago at the time and they hit the city by storm. And then... never heard much after their second release. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.
