Actually, I would look at this as an oppurtunity to get over my fear of flying. And I'll even give you a star for your question.

Not in a private plane,but airliners have no provision for escape and extremely limited opportunity for emergency landing. You can always land on a rural road if you have to in a small one-engine plane. Military jets require that every man have a parachute. Commercial airliners are like cruise ships with no lifeboats or life preservers. I'm not afraid to fly in them but they make me nervous - not emotionally,more like seriously questioning if I'm being a responsible person by flying commercial.

Not afraid but it does make me a little nervous upon take off and landing and of course if there is turbulence

Yeah especially when it moves I fear it will fall down & when I'm flying above the ocean I have a bigger fear we will crash into the ocean!! OMG Now I don't want to go to wherever we are going to go to soon!

Yes, but it is the quickest way to get from point A to point B. But it's white knuckles all the way for me!
