I recently found out a friend of mine is cheating on his wife. What kind of woman dates a married man? My understanding of women was that if a married man made a pass at a woman, she would think he was a dirt bag.
What does the married man say to alleviate this feeling, and end up sleeping with the new woman?

A married man with anyone except his wife is not a friend to have!! This guy is a dirt bag!! Many people cheat for many different reasons, some reasons we will never know or understand. Many men/ladies do this because of low self esteem, many use the excuse things at home are not going well. One of the main things is that no one knows what really is going on behind closed doors, just the ones involved. I am not sure how anyone that loves there spouse could even think about being with someone else or sharing the most private of things that married couples share intimately. That is only to be shared with your spouse!! When you take your vows at the time you get married they are supposed to mean something for both of you for the rest of your life not part time!!
That all comes with the term married!! The for better or for worse does not mean you have a right to abuse one another and there feelings! It is meant for the easy street or the rough ride.
This man will look back at some point and time and wish he had never done this to his family or himself! If this man no longer loves his wife then he should have done the manly thing, tells his wife, had a talk with just the 2 of them and work from there!! That is why this is not a real man!! He is nothing more than a scum bad!!

You're gonna have to deal with the fact that some women want the benefits of a sexual relationship without the baggage of a marriage. Women DO enjoy sex - a LOT! And since they can do it without getting pregnant, they enjoy a liberation unheard-of in ages past.
If a woman has an affair with a married man, it's because, among other things, he's not going to bug her to marry him!
and she won't have to deal with kids and all the hassle that comes with being a mother. And - if she decides she's had enough of a particular man, it's so much easier to end it and find another - she does not have to deal with the hassle of getting divorced. She knows the guy's not gonna squawk real loud because his wife will catch wise and he'll be cooking his own goose!
As far as how he goes about rationalizing his cheating behavior - well, honey, that's HIS problem. And you can take this to the bank - women make passes at married men just as often as married men make passes at other women! That goes for married women as well as single ones...

What kind of man would have an affair with a married woman? It goes both ways you know.... don't believe me just check craigslist and you see so many ads from married women that are bored and looking for a little side action. I'm sure it is a question of morals or a lack of them to be more precise.... also I'm sure there are a fair share that delude themselves that this married person in unhappy in their marriage and that they are in love with them and not their husband/wife..... Basically it is so socially acceptable and common place anymore that doesn't seem to bother some people. What a shame that our society has come to that.

There are many so called reasons. None of which are valid only excuses. Some women do it to pay back a cheating husband or one who ignores her. The woman is usually only setting herself up for heart break. Married men usually just want a little fun on the side. The real question is "have you discussed this with your friend"? He needs to be reminded of how many people he can hurt by continuing this affair. Most married men use the same old statements, my wife doesn't have sex with me, she won't cook etc and 99% of the time it is a lie or she doesn't because he turns away from her. Women who fall for these lines are setting themselves up for a fall.

I agree with most of the comments, everyone should stay in their own bed. Why are married people so afraid to discuss what they want sexually?there has always been affairs....yet even though each individual should be able to use good judgement..you have to admit social media doesn't help.You can have an online affair sex and all ....with people all over the world.My friend still have employed...she found out her retired husband was online all day & sometimes. at night talking to women sexually.And as, them to meet up with his ( he is 71 yrs old).both parties s/b held responsible.I'm not for what the women engaged in with the married men..yet they spend a life time wishing it never happen.like someone said what goes around comes around and that's for both.

A woman who would have a relationship with a married man has no sense of values or morals and no self respect...in other words she is a whore. The married man says nothing because that is exactly what he is looking for when he wants to phuck around.

A Woman no matter how old or young they are, some of them not all, do not care if a guy they like is married or not, as long as they have Pants, and are masculine. this is the trend nowadays, if they break the Marriage up, they do not care as long as Guys, who are two timers keeps on seeing them. It is sad when there are Kids involved in the marriage.This is my opinion, if I found out my Husband was two timing me, with a Woman, I would first give that so-called Woman a good beating, and would tell her that next time she better be sure the next Guy she likes better be single or she would get the same she is getting now.Now, getting back to my Hubby, I would be sure I would maim where it hurts most his Manhood, just like Lorena, Bobbitt did to her Husband.

she would be the kind of woman who doesn't have a life, or financial stability so she has an agenda, she wants the same things as he gives to his wife, the same life, only she has no character or morals, so it doesn't bother her to go after a man who is committed and married. normally most women would not go for it, but this kind does because she has no life, or mate and maybe the single guys she has met are a disappointment to her. so she sees a man who is a good husband or has been and makes her play or maybe he made a play first, either way she has no compassion for the wife, she only seeks her own gain i life.

I think a woman that cheats with a married man is a dirt bag , and back in the day would have gotten a serious beat down.... I can't stand women like ... but what goes around come's around.... I feel for the wife ... and how sick is your friend being with this other woman and going back looking his wife in her eyes daily lying to her , she would probably be devastated if she found out...and then the children.... yeah your friend is a scum bag....... not thinking of everyone in the situation how would he feel if his wife was to do the same...?
