Ten or Vitalogy, IMHO
Actually buy Ten is is better and IMHO never been bettered though Vitalogy is close

I think that Vs. is better than Ten if you get tired of the same old Alive, Jeremy and Evenflow which is what happened to me because I over listened to Ten. Vs. is really good my favorite songs are Dissident, W.M.A, Elderly Women Behind...., Daughter, Rearviewmirror, Rats.

No they don't Mudhoney sucks they have one good song and Pearl Jam has like 4 albums worth of good songs.

Out of all of them....the only Pearl Jam album that I like in entirety is Ten

Vs. It is more mature, better rounded and less raw-sounding than Ten.
"Go" and "Animal" are perfect rock songs.
"Rear View Mirror" was their best song never to be a big hit.
"Elderly Woman" is one of the best sing-along songs ever, perhaps bested only by "Sweet Caroline" and "Piano Man".
I love the drums on "W.M.A."
And the album also has "Daughter", "Glorified G", and "Indifference"!
Definitely a more complete album than Ten.
In fact, I might even rate Vitalogy above Ten, if it weren't for too much experimental filler.

I have all their albums and the only one I haven't yet gotten into is their latest self-titled album.
I really can't choose a favourite because each album seems to appeal to me according to my mood.
'Ten' is just a classic, I listen to it nostalgically.
'Versus' has some great rock songs and nice acoustic softer stuff.
'Vitalogy' was a bit experimental and raw.it took time for it to grow on me.
'No Code' was a bit more commercial with some catchy sounds.
'Yield' was yet another classic and is quite varied.
'Binaural' is the album I listen to the most.excellent.
'Riot Act' was quite anthemic and a little commercial sounding.
I love them all.

I hate to go with everyone on this one but TEN is a masterpiece. The rest are all great too, gotta admit my least favorite is Binaural.

i LOVE them all....huge pearl jam fan...even named my cat pearl jam lol
i would have to say 10...vs...vitalogy are their best....but they are all great....eddie is a god
