Probably tobacco -- or maybe actual weed. The actual plant is most likely an artificial one (I'd love to see those in a prop room).

from what i have seen...just by the way that the smoke looks...it is weed...and no surprise, i dont htink it would be very hard for someone to come up with a bag on a movie
set.

i would guess the same stuff they use for cigarettes for actors who dont smoke. they are herbal tobacco cigarettes. unless its a ghetto movie i dont think they use real weed in it.

there are prop companies that make fake tobaccos and probably fake joints and when you suck on it smoke comes out. they used a fake cigarette for a play that i did stage crew for back in high school.

Plus prop master probably make them too.

they use real weed in movies unless the actor doesn't want to smoke weed so they use tobacco.
