You can look at almost any rock and role artist during a time of war (or so called "peace") and find anti-war songs, or songs for peace. I think being anti-violence just comes with being an artist since they are more sensitive to those types of things...some of my favorite anti-war songs are: Masters of War by Bob Dylan, Imagine by John Lennon, Boom! by System of a Down, and MANY more...
