I told a kid on here that had in the area of 5 to 6 home work qustions the following.
Do your homewoke yourself. don't cheat yourself silly ribbat. Cause thats who's being cheated. the teacher has their education.

It wasn't the "silly rabbit" comment that was the violation --- and no, I think something like that said in passing is intended as humor.

The violation -- according to Y!A -- is that you didn't answer the question -- you made a comment about the question and about the asker, while refusing to address the question.

Personally, I agree with you -- and have made similar comments myself. Mine have also generally been reported and removed for abuse -- and I got the above answer when I asked why.

I usually tell them to post in the Homework Section of Yahoo Answers. There are also other members (not the question poster) that think it's their duty to compalin about answers. I have had numerous violations and even won the appeal on a couple.

Someone might had seen the mis-spelling as a intentional sarcastic remark to the questioner. Its all in the writing of the sentence, implying lack of intelligence can be taken as a violation. (i.e.-Insulting remark,etc)

LOL, well I guess it could be considered insulting.. which would be in violation, but I don't think too many will make a case of it.
