"Who Framed Roger Rabbit". It was actually released by a Disney subsidiary company, Touchstone, because it was a little to risque for mainstream Disney. Jessica is, of course, not a rabbit, but takes the surname Rabbit from her husband, Roger.

She was created by Gary Wolf for his novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit? and then used in the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit which was loosely based on the book
Disney is only slightly involved in this movie's production and Touchstone only distributed the VHS.
Just a note, Amy Irving only did her singing voice, Kathleen Turner did her speaking voice but is uncredited in the movie.

One of the most UN-Disney movies I've ever seen.
Actually, Jessica Rabbit's SINGING voice was done by Amy Irving. Her SPEAKING voice was Kathleen Turner.
