In triangle ABC, m a.) Find sin A to the nearest ten-thousandth
b.) Find the measure of angle A

how do i find these, please show me how

-------------------------------------------------------------

okay im still a little lost
i did sin^-1 = 20/40 and the answer i got was 30
so is that answer what b?
if it is for b(the measure of angle A), then what is a(sin A)

a). Sin A = 20/40 = 0.5
NB Sin angle is 'opposite/hypotenuse'
Cos Angle is 'adjacent/hypotenuuse'
Tan angle is 'opposite/adjacent'

Hypotenuse is the side opposite to the 90 degree angle
Opposite is the side opposite to the angle under sonsideration
Adjacent is the side adjoining the angle, which is not the hypotenuse.

b). If Sin A = 0.5
then Sin^-1(0.5) = 30 degrees.

The third angle use Cos
So Cos B = 20/40 = 0.5
Cos^-1(0.5) = 60 degrees.

Draw the triangle. You have a 90degree angle, the hypotenuse is 40 and one leg is 20. So the one leg is half the length of the hypotenuse. This is a 30-60-90 triangle.
The sine is opposite/hypotenuse. You are given the opposite and the hypotenuse, so it's 20/40=1/2.
a.)1/2
b.)30
