I need some Christmas songs! I would like some classic good songs (possibly a few new ones). But the classic ones need to be remakes, from someone other than the origanal artist. Something Hip sounding, but with the same great lyrics. Suggestions? Please. =]
Thank You.

oooo...and to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Who sings " I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause" in the Old Gap Commercial.

Any coca-cola commercial Christmas songs?

The Christmas Song - Nat King Cole
Anything off Nat King Cole's Christmas Album
Jingle Bells - Frank Sinatra
John Denver & The Muppets - 12 days of Christmas
Mary's Boy Child - Harry Belafonte
Manheim Steamroller (Various Instrumentals)
Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt (The original--much better than Madonna!)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - Perry Como (& lots of other Perry Como X-Mas songs)
Rosemary Clooney - Let it Snow

I think "I saw Mommy....." was sung by Little Jimmy Boyd

At the moment, it's too early so I tune out Christmas music.... I almost tuned out this question because it was about Christmas songs and stuff.... I mean I saw this question earlier and skipped it. I guess I have a 0 tolerance policy on Christmas songs

There are some good versions of Christmas songs on the Barenaked Ladies album "Barenaked For the Holidays."

They include, "Jingle Bells," "Do They Know It's Christmas?," and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Rainbow."

The best Coca Cola commercial Christmas song was I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing. It was recorded by The New Seekers.

I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees and snow-white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills "Ah, peace throughout the land"

(That's the song I hear)
I'd like to teach the world to sing (that the world sings today)
In perfect harmony

(Lead singer and background singers singing simultaneously)

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony

Id like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees and snow-white turtle doves
