I think most people are only a few ticks away from turning into monsters. Our history is filled with murders, rapes, wars, witch trials, slavery, executions, and people being killed for entertainment. In our modern culture people thrive on seeing celebrities in trouble. I mean when you really come to understand it you realize that you are smack dab in the middle of a planet filled with crazed murderous lunatics. …does that ever worry anyone else? Knowing at the drop of a hat everyone could lose their danged mind.

I think you are making a mountain out of an ant hill. You are looking at the small percentage of humanity that gets all the press. If it were that bad, we would all be up in flames now. There is an ebb and flow to life. No one makes the news because they made a great plate of spaghetti. Don't get discouraged by what you hear. Continue to be part of the silent majority, slowly working toward progress in the world right under everyones' noses.

No, it does not scare me > one would think how can things get worse than this or that > and life goes on > most try to do their best > bottom line > if people do not receive Jesus Christ as there Lord and Savior > they will forever bump around in darkness and no matter how they try to do their best or do good they shall always do evil > even after one accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior we learn day by day > moment by moment to do good and not evil it is a journey that will end when we are called home (heaven) or are raptured out and meet the Lord in the air > we have to learn how to do good > our parents try their best to teach us good yet, if they are not saved the evil cycle shall continue > once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, it is a one on one relationship with our Triune God > we then should read the written word which is clear it shall get worse in the world but we are not of the world though we live in it > so our journey is more clear and a continual learning experience for the good life has to offer > It is then we begin to pray for those still in darkness that they may come to the light > because those things you mentioned in your question shall be and shall get worse in this world we live on our planet in our universe > watch and pray.

If you are interested in how humans act at their core beings might I suggest doing a bit of research on the great minds of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke. They spent many years researching and philosophizing on human instincts under certain situations. It is very interesting stuff, and definitely worth some of your time if these things intrigue you.

Yes. But the world would never be the way it is had we not learned what not to do from people like that. Sad but true. Hopefully they can all be contained. The real world can be scary, but it can also be oh so beautiful.

I think it's a better idea to be crazy.
Humans are by nature very carnal. We like to be shocked. I've had several head injuries and as a result I've become psychotic. I have to be careful about what I expose myself to because I am very likely to go and try to do something about it.

Know that goodness will always win because deep down these people know what they are doing is wrong and at some stage in their lives they will change. We are not born bad, we are just taught it.

Well, seeing as how I am human myself, then no, it really doesn't scare me very much. After all, if all this is what humans are capable of; then, should it ever be necessary, I assume I would be just as capable as any other human to survive.

I think you are referring to a group of people who would score high on HARE scale for psychopath...There are few in this world who are what you've described, and not all humans as you put it:)
