What I do not understand is David Duke spouted out that there was no holocaust and he even tried running for president, senator, and even governor, Thank goodness he never won, but we didn't tell him he had to stop saying the things he was saying or atone for the things he said in the past.

We even let Hugo Chavez speak here in this country. This country is really starting to turn into a country of hypocrites.

We talk a big a game with how great this nation is, but if there is someone we do like than I guess we are not we are not going to let them sample some of what we say is good about this country. If we do not let Iranian speak, he is going back to Iran with proof that Americans are nothing but people who just breathe out hot air.( Which probably explains some global warming problems we are seeing here too.)

Ahmadinejad is smart and wiley man.

A charmer in his own country. There is a reason why
he has risen through the ranks of Iranian politics so quickly.

Regardless, he is only trying to garner world wide attention for his visit to NYC and himself. Most people if they have a lick of common sense will consider the source first before believing.

I don't know about Ahmadinejad, but unfortunately I don't think a lot of the American public are even aware of the existence of different opinions and explanations. This is because the media is in very few hands and it does not function like it should in a healthy democracy. The Americans are CONSTANTLY being brainwashed by the corporate and Zionist perspective.

He, like anyone that would make that statement is correct. As Americans we are always looking for more information. Different opinions are why we are here, how we learn and how we live.

Must even be why Y!A is such a success…
:)

He also said in the same statement that he looks forward to providing Americans with "correct and clear information."

This is the same guy who claimed that the Holocaust never occurred. Yeah, sure I'm really eager to hear his "opinion" and "correct and clear information" because whatever he says is so true.

Give me a break. Only the anti-Americans will listen to this rat.

He doesn't understand Americans any more than we understand the Middle East's centuries old conflicts with each other. He's about to find that out when he's pelted with questions from the students at Columbia.

His own people hate him- the average Iranian that is. The anti American left loves the guy along with Chavez, Castro, Assad and Kim. What he is after is a forum in which to spread propaganda. The left will eat it up, " see he just wants peace, it is Bush who is evil" and so on because that is how their twisted minds work.

I think Americans need to see both sides and then decide what you think. I think Americans also do need new opinions and new views on things besides what the news feeds you.

To an extent -- simply the fact that there is such great dispute and disagreement by people in the country shows that not everyone has the same opinion.

So, just like commenting on the weather or the fact that the oceans exist -- just because we may disagee with someone on most issues doesn't mean everything he says is automatically false.
