I was not saying it is in regards to the oil we (U.S.) use, it is not about our country--Bush family investments. Some of the Bush family's oil investments is Public Records. This is separate from where U.S. receives their oil resources.
Where Bush ordered the U.S. military to go and who he went after following 911 reaffirms this.

I will add others--you must be young because there were incidents of whether Bush Sr. could do what he did while he was President with so many oil investments--this info is not new but I will add to details. I think they named it something like they had labeled Clinton's Whitewater & Nixon's Watergate.

Wall St. Journal or a Business Journal listed the various companies/interests/profits of the Bush family with their oil shares/interests I believe dating back 4 generation of Bush's and my friend Elton is looking for this. I will post when we find this too. He borrowed it to use for an FSU paper.

Does anyone else remember the "conflict-of-interest" situation George Jr. got himself into I believe when he ran for president the first time or for Gov of Texas because of his family's long association and investments with the oil companies?

Well done, that is one of the TRUE reasons, there are also other reasons to why they wen't to war, its costing the U.S taxpayer a fortune to fund this war, but were is this money going to? the big corporations who build the weapons for this war thats where is going to, they lyed about the WOMD to try and gain public support, so they then decided to a inside job to takle down the towers and blame Iraq to gain public support (which it did) but what gets me is why attack Iraq when they were suppose to be Saudi's, who supplies most the weapons to these insurgents yes the Saudis, so why don't we have a go at the Saudis? they wont because the Saudis own 10% of the American econamy (i bet people did not know that) they have trillions of doller floating around American banks, add that to all the oil the bush familys oil intrests that they are stealing from the middle east, becaseu Iraq was a easy target,
All money motivated
9/11 attacts to gain pulic support, follow by the war on Iraq, it was one long big plan.

Oh, for pity's sake. If it was all about the oil, the government would have actually listened to the *vast* majority of Alaskans and opened ANWR. Would have been a hell of a lot cheaper and less troublesome.
By the way - a big thanks for nothing to those of you against drilling in ANWR. More than 99% of my state is locked up against development, forcing us to be a welfare state. Ironically, we have natural resources - many of them renewable - that most people wouldn't even *dream* of. If you're opposed to drilling in ANWR, you should be more than willing to give up even 50% of *your* state to conservation.
I won't be holding my breath.

For crying out loud! We've been over this 3 thousand times now! Like we are going to have this big war to save oil interests in a country where we aren't getting the majority of our oil!!

Your question is naive. The Bush administration goals were far more sinister than just that--try globalism for starters (remember old Bush talking about the New World Order).

Say what???? I'd like to see your proof of this. What I don't understand is how you people can pick this crap out of the sky and ask us if we "understand". Get real!

Yes we understand that. That's why the military was ordered to invade the "wrong" region and attack the "wrong" people.
