Only if you are a Christian who wants everyone who isn't Christian to go to your Hell. Then it is true to you but universally false to all others.

"Judgment Day" is a relatively new belief, that sprang up with Christianity and spread to all the root religions that followed (Protestant, Islam, etc.). Before this, judgment was something issued upon the supposed crime. Even now, with so many purporting to believe in it, we still dish out judgment from the simple to the severe (now usually based on how strong the societies religious beliefs are). Regardless of whether or not one is religious, though, our race will end. The question is simply how this will occur (the list of possibilities are as vast as the universe). As the saying goes, "given a long enough time-line, our survival rate drops to zero." Even if we were to somehow survive long enough to leave the planet and populate the stars, even reality is finite, and doomed to end, as with all things. The problem with believing in a "Judgment Day" is that it gives no incentive to improve upon the human situation. It's an escape clause, or "religious suicide." It propagates the believe that since God will bring about the Apocalypse, we can, and should, do nothing. Global warming is an act of God. 9/11 is an act of God. Tsunami's are the act of God. Katrina was an act of God. All these things were touted as deserved by millions of devoted. Why try and stop something that God has proclaimed? One cannot, and should not, defy God. This, ultimately, is a counter productive, and destructive, belief.

It depends on your religious beliefs. As a pagan, I don't believe in a day of judgment. I would say that if you are Christian, then yes, there is a day of judgment. That does not necessarily hold true for other religions.

Besides, if the Christian god is all knowing, why would he have a Day of Judgment? He already knows what you did, you know, like Santa Claus. :o)

Judgement Day will come towards the end of humanity's time on Earth. The reason an omniscient God would instate a Judgement Day is not for Him to review your case so much as for public sentencing.

However, you don't have to receive a sentence of condemnation on Judgement Day or when you die (whichever comes first.) As someone else mentioned, God loves you unconditionally and it breaks His heart when people use their free will to commit evil acts great and small upon others.

He sent His Son Jesus to pay for your sins and enter into relationship with you. When you are in relationship with Jesus He will help you become the person you need to be to further glorify God.
Best of all his gift of salvation is free for the asking and if you know Jesus when you die or Judgment comes (whichever comes first) they will still review all your sins at the Judgement Throne but Jesus will speak up at the end of the review and mention that He has already paid for them with His suffering.

Thanks for your time.

Yes, Judgment Day is true.
If anything, we all will die. And on that day, we will
be faced with culmunation of our spirit journey.
Whatever we have grown within ourselves to that
point, will determine our spiritual future.
For some it will be euphoria,
for some it will be sorrow.
While some partake of psuedo-spirituallity to entertain themselves, it will do little to progress their eternal energy.
Others ignore the spiritual in favor of the physical, leaving them spiritually weak on the day of transformation.
While a few will have sought the truth for their spirit, and will progress with strength and joy.
All this will be determined at the time we leave our physical bodies.
Wheather we are Buddist, Christian, Wiccan or Athiest,
All Paths Lead to God.
That is to say that when we die, we ALL will find out the truth. We will then find out who the "Great Spirit" is...., And then we will have to deal with what we find.
Every one knows the truth in their heart.
The key is in not lieing to ones self.
As far as the Judgement Day of the Bible.
You probably know the answer to that if you look within your heart.

Yes... a personal "Judgement Day" when you die and must stand before God. He will either see you/me for what you/me are: a sinner or as one of His perfect and holy creations (only possible by the covering of our sins with the blood of Jesus. Romans 3:23-25)...

If we live long enough their will also be "End of Times Judgement Day" when the entire world (all people and Satan) will be judged to make way for the Eternal Kingdom. "And I saw the dead, great and small standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done, recorded in the books" Revelation 20:12 (and it goes on further from there...).

Ten out of ten people die. You never know when you will go. Be prepared to face God on Judgement Day. It is necessary. God is holy and righteous. For He is a loving God but also just. For Him to be just He must punish evil. He is so perfect He sees hate as murder (Matthew 5:21-22) and lust as adultery (Matthew 5:7-8). We know what the law is in the Ten Commandments or even on a more basic level: our conscience; con: with, science: knowledge. Conscience means "with knowledge". God has written on our hearts what is right and wrong. No one can escape the judgement and say they did not know...

Read the book of Romans to understand how we have fallen short of the Glory of God. Read the Gospels to recieve the Good News that we can be saved from eternal death...

Put your trust in Christ. Surrender to Him. Repent from your sins and live in faith...

Definitely. It is the basis on which the religion of Islam propagated by Mohammed ( PBUH ) is based. Even prophet Jesus ( PBUH ) has come before that and has warned all about the DAY OF JUDGEMENT. On this day the Almighty GOD will ask all of us for our deeds. There is no doubt about it. Whether this fact is true or false we shall meet once again on that day and then see for ourselves.

Yep, I think there is. I mean, God HAS to draw the line for the evil people! If they were to keep on livin' like always, it would unsettle the balance of the Earth!

At least, that's what I think.
