the one his dad buys for him is a 1977
the newer one is the official 2009 model camaro set for debut in the end of 2008

At first Bumblebee is a 77 Camero but then turns into an 06 Camero Concept (i believe) I hope that helped. I'm a big fan of Bumblebee also :)

Originally he was a 1969 model Camaro, but for the movie Michael Bay made him a 1977 model.
The newer version is supposed to be a 2008/09 prototype model made out of parts of other cars since GM doesn't make Camaros anymore.
