I’m in no mood for criticism he posted with the crone,
The picture wrinkled, scowling – like dog with rancid bone.
Kind Jack of all politeness, even temper and of grace
Had shared with us his inner night, his mirrors leering face.

This side of him is contrast, like screeching of a nail,
down chalkboard – harsh, surprising – a banshee’s tortured wail.
What meaning here, this turnabout from courtesy and wit?
Perhaps his human nature, he’s just like us he will admit.

The paradox of love it seems is borne inside Jack’s heart.
His courtesy, respect and love, the way he shares his art,
Shows us his care for friend and foe – his inestimable respect
He comes on here to nurture – to encourage – and to effect
a subtle transformation – in the lives of those he has not met.

‘This answer brought to you…’ he says at the end of his reply
Direct, well thought and witty – is that a twinkle in his eye?
He oft gives pause to think, and to look at in different light
A dearly held illusion, belief or keen insight.
He kind words serve to function like Occam’s fabled knife.

Who then this crone that stalked in – eyes aglow and footsteps loud?
So different than the tributes shared in which depth and soul abound.
The torment of the artist may be that his fleeting muse,
is teasing him with inspirations that into art infuse
The expectations of himself, which he sees inside his friends.
And draws with longing heart and eyes, a personal amend.

My wish for you dear heart is this, that you may one day see
A vision of yourself as held by the friends who hold you near.
Stripped of the pretense and the pain that self reflection brings,
And full of joy and kindness, courtesy and grand yearnings.
My wish again, is this my friend, that you may one day draw
An image of yourself as seen though the eyes of those who share
A loving image of you Jack, a tender hearted man
Whose wit and grace and courage are the measure – and the man.

Jack Is All About Himself
He Loves Looking In The Mirror
Dresses Casual, But In The Worst of Health
Speaks Boldly, Inside Binds The Worst Of Fear

Don't Get Jack Wrong, He Isn't A Lion To Be Tamed
Wilderness Aside, The Devil Whispers In His Ear
Accuse Him And He Is A Coal Of Fire With No Blame
What Is That Jack, The Devil We All Drink The Beer?

A Poem of Jack B. for Rae (((Rae)))

Jack B. in profile,
With jaw set square,
Charming the whole while
We know he's there;
But what is he else wise?
We've not a clue.
Is he one of those guys
Who's not as true?

With verses he'll guile us,
Fine eyes, too,
With head set just so thus
He knows how to do
The jauntiest of looks.
Full head of hair,
Like the stylists' books.
Is that really what's there?

Charming and handsome
He may well be,
But pictures become
What one may not see;
Your must look to his love's heart,
The portrait that's there
Shows of him the best part,
All that's fair.

Jack and Jill
Jack and Coke
it don't matter
he'll give it a poke
He wrote a poem once
sad but true
of a love lost
due to a tapping shoe
he was an aussie,
but now he's a canuck
if you have protection

LOL
I'll give it a crack
To write a poem
All about Jack

From all that I've seen
Within the Y&A Forums
Jack has always been kind
And answers are far from dumb

This particular message
Has been written and sent
By a passing aquaintance
named ForeverSet :)

LOL Best I can do in under a minute! Peace be with you all! :)

OK...this should be interesting: I usually like to think long and hard but I will risk throwing one out there.

transparent, sharp and smooth
are the reflections of a heart
called Jack.

Usefulness, clever, and sass
are the shields of this man
called Jack.

But humor and laughter are
the ties that hold together
a silly whimsical Jack

now do you really know
or do you lack in knowing
this fellow called Jack

I was gonna do a "B humbled B quick" deal, but it has been overdone. I dare to be different. To wit:

Jack B is sweet, he's kind and good
Jack B writes well, like a writer should
Jack B is handsome -- charming, too
Jack B will get the best of you.
Jack, he truly does inspire
All the ladies to perspire
Hot, he is, and hot he'll be
For all us ladies do agree
That Aussie charm inspires rhyme
It gets us every single time!
Jack, dear Jack, please change not
Else you would be such a sot
For we all love you as you are
All of us, from near and far.

[Take this kiss and hold it dear
Hold it til your mind turns clear
For in this kiss is energy
Designed to bring you synergy
We do not want our dear Jack B
To suffer from dis-harmony.]

(Feel better....) (((Kiss for Jack)))

EDIT: ((((((((Vicarious)))))))) f'n awesome poem, toots.

*POEM ABOUT JACK B*

Jack B.
Jack B.
Oh, what to say, about Jack B.
Um....this is a poem.
And it's about Jack B.
And since I'm writing it,
It doesn't rhyme.
But if this poem were BROUGHT TO YOU by JACK B,
it WOULD rhyme.
Because the handsome, charming Jack B,
is just so f*cking special, like that.
This poem is great
because...um...it has Jack in it?
Yes.
It does.
Um...this poem's almost over now,
but before I quit making a fool of myself...
Jack isn't red.
And Jack isn't blue.
And dear Jack B,
this poem's for you =)

His words bend steel
His beauty beyond real
He is a weed that grows in your heart
Adapts to any environment that he is part
His brush flies with the ease of a gull
He glides into your life making it full
He can take pain away
Jack B, say you're here to stay...

"Can you write a poem about me?"
Asks the infamous Jack B.
And the poets come out in droves
To praise Jack B as through Answers he roves.
