Positive:
Babies give parents a sense of responsibility, importance, achievement and comfort, and a child is a life-long friend.
Negative: Babies can cause parents to feel a loss of personal identity, can be stressful, can leave parents with very little free time, are very expensive, can interfere with long-term plans, relationships (with friends and family, too), and basically dominate your life.
I'll give more when I think of them.

Having babies is sort of a security for the future to me. I think of it as when I am older, and my husband is gone who else will I have other than my children? I will want grand children someday as well. I look at the people in my life who are a generation older than me, and I think what if they never had thier kids?? I feel that their lives would be a lot more empty without thier children in their lives. A negative is they are really hard work & they are financially strainful if you don't make enough money. But then again a lot of parents were poor a generation or two ago, and they made it through. I have a 5 mo. old & another on the way & after this, I will probably not have any more. But I am very thankful for these two because I know they're here for a reason.

Depends on who you ask. Positive reasons: sharing an amazing experience with my husband, raising my daughter, giving my love to someone I helped create, and many more. Negative reasons: Wrong reasons to have a baby are to think that having a baby will make a marriage better or you'll have someone to love - babies are hard work and not something that should be taken lightly.

Ya know I have been married 10 years and everyone always asks me why I do not have kids yet and really I am not financially ready, so I do not have one and I do not even know if I am going to have any cause this world is so bad!
