900 g of water is 900 ml. 1 litre is 1 kg. 1 gram of water is 1 ml is one cubic cm.

The metric system (especially when dealing with water) is very straightforward.

1g = 1mL = 1cm3

so you basically have 900ml net of the container.

density D = m/v , D= 90g/90cm3 = 1g/cm3

same with mL.
