A fine, maybe a short probation and a severe talking to from the judge. Stand there and take the mild humiliation that it will be. For a couple of minutes you will feel two inches tall.

The judge may well remind you that further offenses of that nature will be dealt with more severely. That will NOT be a joke. I hope you have learnt from the experience and that you gained some benefit from the anger management classes. That is not to pass judgement on your actions. Rather, I feel that we can all benefit from a bit of self-exploration from time to time.

The victim in this case will have the most impact on the sentence.

Enrolling in anger management means nothing... completing anger management may, if the victim agrees.

However, if you attempt to sway the victim to ask for leniency, that will be considered intimidation of a vicitim, and will result in more serious charges.

Domestic violence conviction goes on your permanent record even though charges were reduced, 3-5 years probation, fines and court costs.

that depends on your criminal and arrest history.

if you are clean, then you will probably get a couple of years of probation.

if you can stay clean and not have any problems in that time, then you will not have a criminal record.

it's very good that you see that you have a problem.

never mind the people above me who think that anyone who ever makes a mistake needs to go to prison for a very long time.

just understand that if you get this - it's a gift and not one that you should ever forget...
