...'scuse me, Lamp.....I just "snotted" all over my monitor. For a second there I thought you said something about a BLACK guy in the GOP,....... and I was waiting for the punchline......((smile))...

addition:
I am not in this one for points or anything, but I will assure you that this is not a "RACIST/SEXIST" question. There is no insult directed at a white, black, or woman. Some of your sensitivity is telling.

And since I just receive my "fresh deck of RACE CARDS from de Welfare Peepuls" I'll further assure you that Lamp is not blaming RACE for anyone's problems. Don't try to use "Talking Points" about Race Cards and other such bull-shiite without further instructions from the Department of Strawmen And Paranoia.

And to Go-Go...(bite tongue here) When a city's manufacturing TAX-BASE decides to move to greener pastures, whether it is to China, Mexico, India, or the Southern United States where the pay is significantly less, who is left behind in these cities? The answer is those who can't move with the company or don't have the marketable skills that the company wants in order to offer a transfer. Others who had worked there had alredy taken part in the phenomena called WHITE FLIGHT years ago. Moved out to the county suburbs away from the.....taxes and urban blight. Hell, I don't blame them. I "white flighted" too, and bought 52 acres in BFE.

But the point is that black mayors didn't create these burned out hubs. Eroded tax bases did that. Greener pastures did that. Technology did that. Smart managers said "Why should I pay a riveter 34 DOLLARS an hour in Detroit when I can move down to Greer, South Carolina and pay one 15 DOLLARS an hour?" Or he can move to India and pay an IT about 8 American DOLLARS an hour.

Ya see, Go-Go, sometimes when the ship sinks, it ain't the CAPTAIN. Sometimes, .....Go-Go,......it's the OCEAN!

This is a stupid question. I really can't stand when people put a lable on a gender or race. Not all black men have a big penis, women masturbate/have sex just as much as men, and black men don't have the magic eye and the final vote if a woman is attractive. Your friend is full of sh!t and you are an idiot if you actually think this is true. Use your brain.

I can think of several Republican women in Congress who would have made a better president than Bush beginning with Elizabeth Dole and the two Senators from Maine.

As far as black men, Colin Powell is the first to come to mind.

I would have to say colonol powell. As much as I really dont side with the Republican party I think that his millatary experience and his just plain wisdom might be what this country needed. And we wouldnt have gotten in so deep in Iraq as we are now.

Yes, I believe so. JC Watts and Alan Keyes both come to mind. These are people that I admire and respect and would have no problem voting for.

I'm sure there are, but why are you democrats so worried about race and gender? Isn't it the persons character, morals, voting record and qualities that matter the most? Who cares about their race and gender! What is with liberals and the white male complex they have?
