i typed in the data on 2 columns (L1 and L2) so how do i find the slope for this data then find the line of best fit using the graphing calcuator.

also how do i get mirage os on my calculator without the transfer chord?

Hi,
a) From the list screen press 2ND, QUIT to go to the home screen.
b) Press STAT, move the cursor to CALC and press 4 and LinReg will be displayed on the home screen
c) Press ENTER and the slope, a, will be displayed along with the y-intercept, b, and maybe some other information depending whether you have the Diagnostics turned on.
Notice that L1 and L2 are the default lists, so you don’t need to enter them after LinReg. If you put your data in other lists, you would have to enter those list names separated by a comma.

go to STAT --> CALC --> 4. lineReg (ax + b)

lineReg (ax + b) will appears on your graphing calculator screen, they click "2nd" and "1", then "comma" button, then click "2nd" and "2". Then "ENTER"
