Is the game good

Yeah, it's not incredibly good, but you might enjoy it.
If 3 of the following apply to you, then I'd say to definately buy it:
1) You enjoyed the original FFVII.
2) You were interested in Vincents backstory, and wanted to find out more of his conflict with Lucrecia/Hojo.
3) You saw Advent Children and didn't think it screwed up the story of original game.
4) You like third person shooters.

It is terrible. It's a shooter, not an RPG, and a bad shooter at that. If you are still considering getting it, rent it before you buy it. I love Final Fantasy games, but this one is just plain awful.

Hmm... the game is not that bad.
I have playing it... maybe it's bad because the system is 3rd person shooting. But from story, i give it score 8/10.
If you are true fans of Final Fantasy you will say that this game is good.
not from the gameplay but from the story.
but different person must have different opinion.
why you didn't look on youtube for gameplay and game preview?
try to look it first....
after that you can define by yourself that this game worth or not.

i don't know if its any good why don't you rent it from block busters first
