You can contact the state bar association in your state -- most have a referral service that includes lawyers who are willing to do pro bono work.

You can go online and find many different attorney's that will work for a portion of settlement without anything upfront. Or check with your local bar association. Also if it is a criminal case you are entitled if you have no money to a public defender at no cost.
