OK first of all the place you are talking about in Internet Explorer only tells internet explorer which program on your computer to open should you click on an email link... so if you are using outlook express, you would set that there and anytime you clicked on an email link it would attempt to email through outlook express. make sense?

If you are using yahoo as your email which is web based email.. then you do not need to install anything... you simply go to mail.yahoo.com and set up an account or log in if you've already set up an account.

Some web based emails can be downloaded to the computer via programs like outlook express but I am not sure whether you can do this with yahoo... I think it's only msn that does that... but you can ask tech support.

good luck.

You need to log on to Yahoo's Site, and click on Mail and follow the instructions. Yahoo Mail is Web Based and you have to log on to Yahoo to retrive it unless you set it up to be through Outlook or Outlook Express this method you use the POP-3 Option and set it up using Accounts.
