you can do it from yahoo messenger
just enter there cell number in the contact details section

If u have yahoo messenger, just type into the little send IM to thingy at the top and a cell number and they will receive it from some random number then your screen name.

You can probably use yahoo messenger to send SMS's. But it's limited.

I find it easiest just to use my email program. Here is a send-email-to-phone site that can help you figure out the email address of your phone

Or easier, if you can send emails from your phone is to send yourself one and save the address it came from.
