That is very true. I am from a tough past and make the most of life. My biggest pet peeve are these people that make excuses of why they can not succeed and they try to blame others. Many of these same characters could never understand or see my past, through smile and effort for happiness.

Absolutely...look at artists like Tupac and Aesop Rock...they both represented west coast cities, while not many people remember that Tupac was born in Baltimore and that Aesop is from Brooklyn.
You gotta make it your own.

Depends on the person. They might bring the attitude of where their from and it can make them look like a bad person. So it just depends on the person.
