Why are people pointing fingers at people from other races for being discriminatory? Me, i wonder.
People are discriminatory within their own race, so why don't we all tackle that first?
Did you know that:
American-Hispanic (born in US) do not respect immigrant Hispanics?
Dark skinned Jews who stayed back in Ethiopia generations ago are not respected by "white" Jews?
African-Americans do not respect African immigrants?
The list goes on and on.
Caucasians are a little bit different in this respect. Whites treat other whites differently, so long us they are poor.

Yet, minorities are screaming our heads off about discrimination. How do you stand up for your RACE when you don't treat your fellows with respect?
It isn't off for people of the same race to fight for the same goal but you don't call for equality when you treat NOBODY equal within your own race.
U will be judged base on how your sell yourself out there.
Let's respect each other as HUMAN BEINGS. Any take on that?

I gave my information based on what i know very well.
Ethiopian jews who went back to Israel were mistreated by the light skinned jews so most of them returned back to the "foreign" land Ethiopia where they think they might be respected as foreigners.
Freed blacks slaved who were taken back to Liberia, discriminated against the native Liberians, taking up all public positions and moving the natives to "reservations" and that sparked the civil war in Liberia.
Dark-skinned Italians are discriminated against.
African-americans ridicule africans on BET. If they have got any bad example to make about other people, it should be about Africa.
I don't know much about other cultures, but for what i know i think people should deal with discrimination within their race be4 calling on other race to respect them.

question for you,yes there is racism in the black community and latino community, but the same is present in asian ,indian and every other social community elsewhere, now I don't know how widely travelled or educated you are,but these issuses are global.do your research.
My reply to your later comments;
The japanese oppressed the chinese for many centuries, the chinese now do the same to the taiwanese, the light skinned indians do the same to the darker skinned indians, the british against the scots, the irish against the british, the russians against other smaller ethnic groups in their communities, they all have their issues.
In my country there is a lot of it too,but as we work against it,the far most important issue is the much larger existence of white on black racism and vice versa.

There will always be those who want respect but do not want to give it. And those who are secure in their own gender, religion, and race do not have the issues you address. It is those who suffer from low self esteem, who critcize and point fingers and beat their chests . It is their only way to attempt to equal their own playing field because they know no other way. Only by bringing someone else down is how they too can feel important and worthy. They are not really interested in what is moral and just. And that is unlikely to change.

True. I agree. I think ppl will always look down upon other ppl for one reason or another.

FYI.. the original Jews were Africans or Ethiopians. So they were from Ethiopia. Technically the majority of white jews have no direct bloodline to the original "jewish" ppl. They have converted...back then they were called Khazars.

You are correct.
there has been a lot of white-on-white discrimiation: against Irish, Italians, eastern Europeans, and lots of others.
I would point out that the whole notion of three seperate "races" (caucasion, asian, african) is itself highly inaccurate, a remnant of a 19th century model long discarded by anthropologists and ethnologists.
American racism was invented as a tool to prevent poor whites from allying with slaves in the 1600s; we still let its framework keep us divided (and conquered) today.

I completely agree with you on all counts.

But please, Jew is not a race. It is a culture.
