you'll have to convert it to gas first, then to lpg.. is this some kind of school project? they work best on diesel, it be a step down to go to gas or LPG is alternate for gas engines

you would have to change all the pistons to a lower cr and add a electrical spark system to ignite the fuel, etc.

I have actually seen three 250 Cummins diesels converted to LPG. If you don't have a machine shop of your own to do the work, the cost would be prohibitive.
Due to the configuration of some newer diesels it would not be possible.
On the 250s. the top of the pistons were dished to lower the compression ratio, the injectors were pulled and their rocker arms removed, and the holes were rethreaded for 14mm 3/4 reach spark plugs. Some long sleeves for the plugs and wire connectors were fabricated ala Dodge 426 hemi and inserted through the rocker box covers. If the guy had waited a few years on the Cummins-Rio Grande natural gas engine he wouldn't have had to rebuild the heads, pistons, and rockerbox covers, because all the parts could be bought new.
The diesel pump was removed and an adapter was made to mount a six cylinder Ford distributor.

Diesel your better off going the Bio - diesel route.

The LPG is best used in a combustion engine that runs on gasoline.

Here are a few links to point ya in the right direction.
Not a difficult swap out, just a lot of thought as to lay out.

LPG engines are made out of gasoline engines as the LPG will ignite too quick in a diesel motor (it can run but it will make the motor knock and such)

Go find a gas motor and install a propane or LPG carburator... something that will regulate the flow better
