The warm camaraderie that Y! Answers has given me is a blessing.....I know...the hug is not physical....and I would never discount the wonders of a physical hug....but we share parts of our minds and spirits...and touch each other on that level.....and we touch many whom we never would have know otherwise....and surely you know this for you are one of the best....

Yes I do. There are so many people that are having problems and no one to turn to.
When my kids were teenagers I would always hug their friends when they came over. Their parents were always kicking them out of the house and they all called me mom. Several of them spent a lot of time here.
That is such a tough time and the teens need just as much guidance as when they were little tots.
I think this site is not a blessing or a curse, but an outlet. People that don't know where to turn can get ideas from others that have had the same situation. And also not have someone argue with them about their ideas, feelings and thoughts.

Yes some people here sure needs hugs and caring, Y/A and 360 is a blessing, people is a gift from god. Some of the answers touch my heart.

There have been times I wish I could do that. At those times, it might seem like Y!A is a curse, but I still am really glad I am here where I met wonderful people I never would have met anywhere else.

Oh yes, like the little girl w the horrible bladder infection and yeast infection and no one to talk to or help her but this bunch of yahoo people. She had been raped, then threatened if she told anyone.
The man who had just lost his wife.
The young woman who was being stalked.
on and on and......at least they got SOME comfort here. At least they might go to dr or whatever if 20 ppl tell them to.

for me Y!A has been a blessing. i've been having personal problems lately and this place takes my mind off of them for awhile.
