I was just watching an old episode of spiderman which was a crossover with x-men and i though wouldn't it be cool if they did a movie crossover. Sort of like alien versus predator or freddy versus jason but friendlier. I would die a happy girl if I saw spiderman as tobey macguire and wolverine as hugh jackman duking it out.

...I'd say, give the filmmakers a little time, and we'll probably see something like this happen; Warner Bros. is already on the fast track, to do something like this, with their proposed "Justice League" movie; we're talking Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hawkman and the Green Lanturn...all in the same movie...

...over at the Marvel camp, there HAS been talk about possibly doing an Avengers film, in the future; that would involve superheroes like Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and others...all to share the screen together...

...with these projects being proposed, or out & out being developed, the possibility of having Spidey team up with, or even pit his super powers against someone like Wolverine, is distinctly possible...

...after all, they've done it repeatedly in the comic books; they've even crossed over DC comic heroes with, or against Marvel comic heroes (...the 'Superman vs. Spider-Man' comic, for instance)...

...I'd say, we'll just have to stay tuned, eh?!?!?

Lolz I always thought of that. The truth is that different studios own different hero so its legally divided. But I understand what you are talking about. I think that it's good to break them apart in their own movies to show and emphasize on their own character story lines but as you see in the Marvel movies like more and more heroes are included in the individual movies for example Captain America Civil War or Ant-Man. Also, not having all the Avengers in every Marvel movie is a cash grab. Marvel makes a lot of money when they are all together. They make even more money when they only put out a Avengers movie every blue moon so it could make the experience special. I think the directors could use some help but are doing okay since a MCU on the big screen is a new concept to them and the audience and they are still trying to figure the kinks and formulas they would make the MCU coherent

Is this a joke? Age of Ultron is one of the biggest grossing films of all time. Avengers also blew box office records. Sony and Marvel are already in talks of merging Spidy with Avengers. The list goes on and on. Batman vs Superman is due to release this year.
