You have the legal power to make decisions for your child until the child is 18, and your parents have the legal power to do the same. If you leave before you turn 18, your parents can file runaway charges and you will be returned home to them.

Just wait until you are 18, then move in with him.

Meanwhile, go ahead and file child support and paternity papers against your boyfriend. I know, I know, you plan to be together forever. That's great. When you two get married or move in together, any child support he is ordered to pay will stay in your household. Just in case, however, it's easier to get everything take care of while you two are getting along. If you wait until you might break-up, it'll be a harsher experience for all involved.

Pheonix Quill, I think is being a little harsh. Having a baby isnt a bad decision and moving in with the father isnt a bad decision either. I am going to have a baby when i turn 18 and the father lives with me. It isnt a bad decision but a great one i think. Move in with the father and keep the family together in one piece instead of haveing a family of father for a weekend.

Well, your parents couldn't stop you from making your first bad decision, it's unlikely they can prevent #2.

Good luck with that.
