Ive had the paragard (10yr) iud since may..My periods have been regular since then all up until now..(last period was Aug. 23-26...My period is now 5 days late..lately about a week before i was supposed to start, Ive been having really bad heartburn, nausea, peeing all the time, cant sleep very well...cramps on my right side..Im just wondering what my chances of being pregnant? or is my period going to start ?
If i dont start by the morning im going to call the doctor...Thanks

I started bleeding a little bit ago, but its not very heavy,(barley enough for a pantiliner) and very light colored...Im still really confused...

it may be your period is coming... have u checked if the strings are still there? i also have the IUD and i always feel those symptoms so dont worry much but if you dont get your period until thursday then you best go check with a doctor but no sooner than that

My Friend got pregnant using the IUD she Had it for around 2 years before she got pregnant. my other Friend had the IUD for around 4 months got sick all the time they had to actually remove the IUD. take a at home pregnancy test. GOOD Luck

take a pregnancy test. it is absolutely possible to get pregnant with an iud. it doesn't happen all the time but it does happen. i would take a test before going to the doctor.
