Oh yea, the government pays millions of dollars in farm subsidies each year. Unfortunately, like many Government programs, it is being taken advantage of by big business and the original intent of the program has been lost.

This is like a Monopoly. Companies do not monopolize they incorporate.
So, farmers do not get paid to not grow, they get subsidized.

Yes, but it is not just to the giant agribusinesses. Small family farms receive the benefits also.

you bet they . Farms are corporations nowadays, they file bankruptcy often and many large grants from the feds

yes, and the biggest profiters are giant agribusinesses which are paid heavily not to overproduce
