I think of General Brock and McDonald who led the charge on Queenstown Heights. Stopping American aggression can be seen as a good thing. I think of Cicero who stood up to Julius Caeser as well as Marc Anthony and Octavian.
Abraham Lincoln qualifies as a patriot.

Pat Tillman. the man had it all, money, fame, a great life. He laid it all on the line to fight for what he believed in: Protecting this great country for all invaders Foreign and Domestic.
Pat Tillman died trying to protect this country. why he died is not of interest here.
He was a Patriot.
He Was a True Citizen of this great and wonderful nation. and he's not the only one.
General George Smith Patton,
General George Washington,
General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson,
General Robert E. Lee,
General Charles "Chuck" Yeager,
Sargent Alvin C. York.
My father, Petty Officer First-Class(retired after 20years) USN.
My Brother, Lance Corporal Uncle Sam's Misguided Children (USMC 1989-1994).
And every other Military Person that serves with the words "Duty, Honor, Country" Carved into their hearts.

But , what jumped to my mind right on was , that Patriot rocket that USA navy troops used against IRAQ when that stupied (lete) Saddam Hussain attacked Kuwait , and that was from the famous "Liberty" fighting planes Carrier..!!

Someone who is willing to put themselves out there to defend their country. Whether it be from outside enemies or enemies within. The government SHOULD be questioned, but it's citizens actions should be questioned as well...some of it is outright treason.

I think of our President. He stands up and defends America, doesn't care about "popular opinion". Our guys and gals in uniform that VOLUNTEER to protect and serve our country. I think about Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Reagan, Glenn Beck and slews of others getting the message and truth out. I think of myself and my family and all the other great Conservatives here on Yahoo Answers.
