Hi i Have got 2 computers in my house A Patriot laptop(crap) and a Dell Inspiron( good) and i want to have wireless internet in my house I have a basic account with Virgin upto 2m. It will work fine. The router is faster than your Virgin link, it will not slow you down. You will of course wire your existing Virgin modem to the new router. I suggest wiring the Inspiron to the router, if it is close enough, and only use wireless for the laptop,
