My cousin's wedding was horrible. I knew it was going to be a mess because first if all she sent the invitations out late and there was no address for the wedding on them. So dumb!

Then, it was outside with no provision for rain in this little gazebo. There were no chairs to sit in so we stood on the grass. I has twisted my ankle the day before so it was killing me in the heels I was wearing with no where to sit.

Then, the bride (my cousin) was almost 2 hrs late! My grandmother (who's in a wheelchair) and aunt were very late and missed the ceremony. Then when my aunt and grandma got to the reception there was no food and my aunt was flipping out on my cousin and my cousin's friend defended her and they almost had a fist fight!

My aunt and cousin still don't speak, lol. My crazy family!

I was a bridesmaid with the usual ugly gown and shoes dyed to match. Problem was, the shoes were not ready on time so all of the bridesmaids had to wear shoes that the dye had not dried on. I had maroon feet for almost two weeks!! I also attended a wedding where the hung-over groom threw up in the bride's lap right at the head table. Never have a bachelor party the night before.

My first wedding back in 1989. When we did the toast (do to family religious beliefs) we didn't have champagne in the church basement (reception site) We had fruit punch. When I took a drink it dribble out of my mouth down my chin and right on to my wedding gown; I nice huge red spot of fruit punch.

my cake was a 3-tier cake... when half of the middle layer slipped off the back portion of the cake and smacked onto the table... thankfully we had lots of extra flowers and the mother-of -the bride covered it so the bride wouldnt know until later. then, when transporting the cake... all the layers basically fell apart... THANKFULLY no one has to worry about this in my area... The cake lady is OUT OF BUSSINESS- thank gawd! :) LOL

This is easy! My nice new husband sat at the bar and left me to take care of people he had invited to our home. Got stuck with his perverted friend who wouldn't get off my car until I put it in reverse and stepped on the gas... he was off then. : )
There is so much more to that lovely day, but I think I said enough.
