sitemaker: - why is the outer (ad space) of my site in grey?

Is it becouse google has not listed it yet or sitemaker has not posted / submitted it? I have only set it up a few days ago so mabe I have answered my own question.

Are you paying for your website or is it free. If it is free the sitemaker branding will always be there, if you upgrade it will go.
If you do pay then you can change the backround to anything you want in the menu bar at the top under background in the drop down menu if you get stuck send me an e-mail I will try to help.
